Ministering to the children of Fayette and Somerset Counties
Child Evangelism Fellowship is a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.
VISION
Our ministry vision is to reach Every Child, Every Nation, Every Day. God has given His people a clear commission—to reach every creature with the Good News of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our special mission in CEF is to evangelize every child.
Mark 16:15, “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
Our Chapter focuses on reaching children in the Fayette and Somerset Counties in Western Pennsylvania through Good News Clubs in public schools, 5-Day Clubs during the summer, and various parade, playground, and county fair outreaches in our community. Although our focus is local, CEF is a worldwide ministry that continues to expand.
Matthew 28:19, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations.”
We are committed to leading children to be in God’s Word every day. As children grow in their relationship with the Lord through meditating on His Word, they develop Godly character, which produces much fruit to the glory of God, including sharing the Gospel with their peers.
Psalm 119:2, “Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.”

Committed to Enriching the Lives of Youth
Children have so much to offer to the world - we believe in the power that they hold, and know that they will mold future generations to come. At CEF Fayette-Somerset, we are here to give them the support they need in order to shape them into leaders of the future. We have a number of educational programs and leadership initiatives that help nurture our youth and help them develop the skills they will carry throughout their lives.
In Fayette and Somerset Counties, we are consistently reaching children through Good News Clubs, 5-Day Clubs, and Party Clubs. We also train and mentor teenagers as Summer Missionaries through the Christian Youth in Action Program.
